OMAL is very proud and honoured to have hosted Luigi Di Maio, the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Minister was accompanied by the President of Confapi, Maurizio Casasco and the President of Apindustria, Pierluigi Cordua. OMAL’s CEO Amedeo Bonomi hosted them and gave them a tour of OMAL’s production plant. Confapi has chosen OMAL, and two other companies, to represent the excellence of Brescia during Di Maio’s tour of our province.
The meeting was very colloquial and pleasant, the Minister wanted to know more about the entrepreneurial fabric of Brescia and understand what tools can be put in place to help companies become more competitive in foreign markets and to facilitate exports. (continue...)

Again this year was confirmed the award of the EcoVadis Gold Medal to OMAL S.p.A.

It is already known that the region where OMAL is located in Italy is one of the areas most affected by the virus. About 190 rapid IgG / IgM tests (so-called "lancing test") have been performed by CDS Srl , Brescia occupational medicine excellence company: results could be read after 10 minutes and immediately followed by blood sampling for Quantitative Serological Test in case of positive examination.

OMAL wanted to make his contribution in this difficult moment of health emergency. The company has donated € 50.000 to the Fondazione Spedali Civili di Brescia, which will be used for the purchase of equipment and B-PAP fans, essential to increase the number of intensive care available in the hospital and to be able to face the current health emergency.
Also this year OMAL was awarded the "Best for the World 2019" award in the "Environment" category.
